Surprised by Week 3 of Grim Reaper Event

I didn't realise it was going to pop up today. Believe it or not I breezed through it and completed it in about 20 minutes (just realised I haven't bought the bike yet though). I think i got lucky and my Sims just happened to have the right skill sets.

Angel fish is an easy catch in Oasis Springs in the Bedrock Strait neighborhood behind the empty 20x30 Pebble Burrow and Nookstone 15x20 lots at the single fishing sign. I caught 2 there. With and without bait, I never caught one in the magic realm.

No way that I can figure out. I just made my sim to be a throw away sim, when the event's done I'll delete her.

Also be aware that the new lot challenge can be added to your lot without you knowing. I finished this weeks event and when I saved the lot, I saw that the lot challenge had been added to the lot and I didn't add it.

Edit I just now thought of checking your anti virus and make sure it's not stopping the sims from running.

I mentioned this elsewhere from the news thread about week 3, but when I fished at Crawdad Quarter river from Willow Creek I only needed to fish with bait for a few hours until I finally found my first angelfish and have completed week 3. My first catch was not an angelfish, but my second catch was an angelfish. Also, it might be considered ironic because mermaids do not like fishing and get a sad moodlet when they fish (which I am assuming at least part of the reason why is because of the hook being painful for a fish), but my sim who caught the angelfish was a male mermaid. Another irony is that Lilsimsie caught an angelfish with her first catch at Glimmerbrook behind the portal.
