Tips for those trying to speed through the event.
Since the event is causing issues for some, especially those of us that use mods, I figure I'd make a discussion that could have tips or at least give some help so people can make the event painless as possible. Feel free to add any tips you think others should know, since we are all in this together.

So, first thing is first for those using mods, you don't need to filter through them to find out the ones that are causing issues where the Reaper check list is not working *cough* plant a lily and snapdragon *cough*.

Instead, rename your original mod folder to something else and clear your cache. Then start up Sims 4 and then exit once the main menu pops up to spawn a new Mods folder. After doing that, go and download both the latest "MCCC" mod as well as the "UI Cheats Extension" mod and place them in the mod folder. The former helps when you need to reset a sim or something when it decides to bug out while the latter helps with fast leveling the skills needed, change relationship levels, change sim needs and other things.

Start it up and create a new Sim and world and just use the base world for a setup in the Spring or summer. Put the planters inside the house and raise the roof high enough for trees. Plant your first flower and then go to your skills menu and right click on gardening and level it up to 2, then 3, and keep going till you hit max. Don't know if it breaks the skill if you just jump up to max at the start, but better safe than sorry.

Follow the rest of the checklists (use the skill and then level it up with UI cheats to max them) and when you reach the part where you need to take a cutting of a plant, you can use [ctrl+shift+c] testing cheats true, then shift+click on a plant and change the growth level to mature. Main skills you need for ambrosia seem to be gardening, cooking (and then gourmet cooking), and fishing.

Noted these, too:
*Did not get notified of post arriving this week. Check the postbox. The Ambrosia Society Newsletter was already in my sim's box. (Didn't notice a postal worker until later.)

*If your postal worker gets stuck at your sim's house, try travelling your sim to another lot. (My postman wouldn't leave, left the lot with my sim, he was gone when she returned home.)

*The new boots are only in masculine category. Remove the filter to find them for female sims.

*Angel fish can be caught in Willow Creek's Crawdad Quarter across of the Art Museum (where you find the grills and tables). Required fishing level isn't clear but my sim was L7 (almost 8). Bait seemed to be any organic type..fruit, veg, herb, or another fish. Also, my sim's a sorcerer, the event prompted her to try the Potions Shop in Caster's Alley. It may do if you own RoM.

*Grafting goal doesn't specify which plant to graft, just a plant. It may be either Lily or Snapdragon shoot from last week's goals. Or it gives your sim the option to research grafting, instead.
