I thought vampires were immortal

I got a notification from the grim reaper saying one of my vampires lives will soon come to an end. I know they can die from sun light but she has the power that blocks that and she was inside on the guitar. Do vampires just die after a certain amount of days? She's something like 3/4 into adult right now.

Vampires are not supposed to age at all let alone reach over half way into the adult life stage. It's strange your vampire can age like that.

The age is when I turned her but it's the death part that confuses me

If she dies I will just use the cheats to bring her back I guess. She will be immortal lol

If she dies from electrical wiring or things like that I will accept her death but just dropping like most sims do at old age then no. I might just use the kill command on the grim reaper lol

they are part of a dlc. Not a very big one either. Small area with 5 houses i think

Vampire dlc is much cheaper than expansion packs because of it being a gamepack, but not recommended for players who do not like or hate occult sims. If neutral towards occults (meaning a player does not necessarily love or hate occult sims but okay with adding them into The SIms 4 gameplay and might consider playing with them occasionally) or love them then vampires might be worth buying, but not for people who really dislike or hate any occult sims on The SIms 4.

back up your sim in the library that way if for some reason they die you can just plop them back into the world
