Sims 4 Cat Issues?

Cat meows too much,and meows more even though is happy.
Does buying more pets fix issue? Do dogs complain to?

It seems like a lot of people are confused...pets don't run away due to neglect. Chickens do, cows and llamas do. But the game treats farm animals differently from pets. Cats and dogs run away randomly, and eventually come back on their own, often bringing a gift. Posting a bulletin from your sim's computer can help them come back sooner (For me, this is always within one Sims day. Without a bulletin the pet is usually gone for a Sim week or sometimes more). Pets that are neglected get taken by the pet care worker, and cannot come back. Rodents also run away and return randomly unless you give them an intelligence limiting treat, but rodents will just plain die from neglect.

I have a lack of experience with pets and farm animals despite me owning both the Cottage Living and pets expansion packs mainly because I am more heavily focused as a new player on sim families as opposed to pets and farm animals which I might play with someday, but currently too busy at the moment with sim families or doing something else. That information however is good to know. There are also plenty of youtube videos that show pets returning back home usually on their own. I still however think that farm animals running away from neglect even with a fence and a gate is stupid, but that is just my personal opinion. As for pets running away even with a locked gate specified only for pets instead of toddlers and building a fence that is more debatable which I will likely experiment on someday to see if fences/locked gates will actually prevent pets from running away.

I have never heard chickens in life run away? they have company place to live, why
would they run of? game mistake. Thanks people.
