Basements, cant put in stairs or objects in them.

Sometimes when i make a basement it sais: "obstructed" or "needs a celing" or something along those lines. is therea way to fix this or are basements just finiky like thath?

I build basement to almost all houses whether I build from scratch or add to one I bought or download. I love to put the pool in them rather than outside and have a music and dance area ,etc as well as putting butler bedroom and laundry down in the basement. I use the tool for basement and keep it within my property borders within one block space. Now if there is any water ponds or pools you cannot go under them or it will remove them. If you are on an island you may or may not be able to build the basement. If not I go up. However, if your lot is in the water partially you will not be able to have a basement. If the lot is within land all around you may. But the tool has be used above ground and outlining on top it drops the walls under the ground. Then you put stairs where you can and want to access it.
If you want you pool, pond or whatever then you build around them getting no closer than a block to them if you get to close it will turn red .

Oh sory, i frogot to say that objects in basements dont work, the basement tool it self works fine, its just the objects that are finky...

I have seen this going on since last DLC before I did not have that issue. I just retype my testingcheats true and bb.moveobjects . I also do bb.ignoregampplayunlocksentitlement as well as bb.showhiddenobjects most of the time that works if not I log completely out of game and steam and reload and redo cheat codes. On some occassions I have verified files for steam or had to reload EA really a pain but in most cases that works

Oh... but this hapends only with the new DLC or the base game since the new DLC came out? because i only have Cats & Dogs.
