expansion packs not showing after update

Why does it say my saves require expansion packs I already have?

When I first launched the game it popped a screen telling me that it was downloading "Uninstalled Content" and that I'd get a pop up when it was done, but it is not downloading anything anywhere (nor on Steam or EA app). I think it's playing dead.

i went to the support chat and this is what it told me to do...(4. If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the expansion packs that are causing the problem. To do this, go to your Steam library, right-click on The Sims 4, select 'Properties', go to the 'DLC' tab, and unchecked the expansion packs that are giving you the error. Then, click 'OK' to uninstall them. After that, recheck the expansion packs and let them reinstall.).......... after going 1 by 1 of unchecking and rechecking all the boxes my game started to update. hopefully it works.

I got and update half hour ago and it literally took less than a second to download it

Same here. What the heck is going on? My EA App and Steam thinks I own dlc, but not in game. EA has some serious explaining to do.

Same here. You know, I literally got SimGolf to run the other month from a direct unaltered install. It's 22 years old and never updated or patched by modders. How can I get that to run but booting the Sims 4 is like a Wheel of Fortune where every prize is replaced with a bug?

i had the same issue but also for me i guess my steam account and ea accounts werent linked so now i have to wait for ea help to get back to me

Doing the same, and just noticed that the DLC missing are only the ones I got through Steam. The ones I got through the EA App are working properly. Oh well, a long download ahead...

Yeah I tried that and it didn't fix anything.

So Steam recognizes I own dlc as well. I think this problem is on EA's end, but I do not know how long the download is supposed to take. I am clueless.
