Use the custom shape pool tool. It works in the same was as the custom shape wall tool but instead of building walls / rooms above ground, it builds them below.

Essentially, you 'draw' whichever shape pool you like. So for the example above, you'd draw a straight vertical or horizontal line, then a diagonal one (for the corner), then another straight, etc etc, until you have your pool shape.

Hope that helps!

On Youtube the round designs are made using workarounds like

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nlpQt32z-4k

that places the edges of a round platform on top of the pool or

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wrKRqmK6mms and
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkLPaBVXDck

that uses small objects to build the curve by hand

thats very sad aparently theres no curved pools in sims 4 , just workarounds.
i don't like to use cheats as they are not intended for the gameplay just for builders/devs, hope to not get more dissapointed with the game.

atleast the first video u sended don't use cheats and its part of the normal game, so i will try that for now hope it works, so thank you anyway.

Aah, I see. So sorry, I completely misunderstood what you were asking for!

Yes, it's disappointing that there are no curved pools (that I know of) as standard in the game. Hope you manage to make a satisfactory pool using the workaround above. Do share a pic if you do!

Do you think they used "TOOL" for sims 4? I've been considering trying it for more building options.

I am kind of disappointed how sometimes you have to use cheats. The moveobjects cheat is a must in my opinion even if you are mainly just trying to play the game as intended. What broke me was that for some reason placing a platform against the wall outside to plant some plants in prevented several objects to be placed on the wall inside. There was no logical reason that I could find so I eventually I surrendered and started using the cheat.

@Andy your are a builder :) you want to build a pool. You see cheats as developments tools. That's great, then if you where to use them, you know when to use them in order to not ruin your own gameplay.

but im building a pool for gameplay reasons, not for just making buildings and different things like when someone make a fake car by putting a car toy, by builders i mean mostly to take pics or screenshoots, so i want stay for what the game acctualy is/allow.

in sims 2 u could use cheats to place objects in diagonal (tho with some bugs) i never used that too for example, i just don't like unless im using it for making pics or something.

You have more restraint then I have, as long as you have fun playing the game.

Before I head out, I gotta say those are some nice pool designs! I've been wanting something more than the average pool/pond. I did make one at an Island Living lot that you can get in and out of that is not a pool. (I cut out an area of the deck over the water) It works great so far. Fresh ocean water lol.

Sorry I couldn't help the OP. I've no idea who to achieve that kind of ability in a no-adjustment game.
