Ghost night?

I went to a bar on Wednesday like it said, talked to a ghost, and it still didnt complete the event mission. is there something special you have to do to complete that?

Well.. optional, how? The only way I found to offer it was as a gift, and they don't eat it anyway. Why had our sims cooked this dish, now?

Just add the ghost to your household at least temporarily and make the ghost eat the ambrosia. However, the friendship bar has to be very high in order to ask them to movie in.

Yeah, I'd eventually just asked both Temperance and Guidry to move into my sim's household. I'd also figured that was the objective as it kept popping up in the menu straight away.
I guess I was expecting something relative to the Reaper's Event quest. Silly me! Anyway, my sorcerers can cast Dedeathify so it's pointless to waste Ambrosia on ghosts. I'd rather her give it to a living sim whose age I'd like to dial back. I'd kicked off the event without any mods in, so she'd completed the Master Chef aspiration proper. Her dishes will never go off.

Edit: Also, if anyone happened to be playing a full, eight sims household, that option probably wasn't an option for them.
