Ghost night?

I went to a bar on Wednesday like it said, talked to a ghost, and it still didnt complete the event mission. is there something special you have to do to complete that?

Week Six events aren't working for me. It didn't even complete the social event which I earned gold on for my sims Aspiration

I needed to wait 30 Sim minutes until the task got ticked off. Finally it is over, it was a nice thought but I hope they never bring such thing back.

And if they do, they better test it thoroughly before implementing it. It is still unplayable for dozens of Simmers, it keeps breaking for more and more people, some haven't been able to play it ever since it started... initially, I liked the idea and I enjoyed the first two and a half weeks. Then it bugged out, like it did for so many other players, and I haven't bothered to start the game up ever since. I'll either give it another shot this week or wait until it's officially over so I won't have to look at the Grim icon in the upper left corner and be reminded that I can't finish the bloody thing.

It worked for me at Oasis Springs Rattlesnake bar. This quest is annoying because it should get recognized immediately instead of making us wait since the ghost event only lasts for a short period of time. I got upset and impatient with the bar at Henford-on-Bagley. So I left it and think that I made right decision to go Rattlesnake bar instead just simply because that world is basegame instead of locked behind dlc. I have now completed the event.

there was no ghost night for me i waited for a notification but never got any so around 7pm in game i went to a bar no ghosts showed up but about 2 minutes of my sim standing there the objective completed itself. it says all tasks complete so i assume iam done

You did not say where this took place. Was it an Oasis Springs bars or a dlc world bar? I do not know if this ghost event works with the Grim Reaper Event at any bar or only just Rattlesnake Bar because of it being basegame.

Thank you. Like I said I am concerned that the Grim Reaper event does work at other bars besides basegame worlds like Willow Creek or Oasis Springs for the same exact reason why Kava Party should have counted as a social event but did not. Probably because Kava Parties are not basegame.

Same for me. Went to The Shrieking Llama in Windenburg on a Wednesday (which was also Winterfest). No ghosts showed up but I still got credit. At least Santa showed up at the bar (not Clement, darnit). He gave me upgrade parts

I read that you have the enter the bar after 8pm for a ghost night to trigger. I saved at 7:53pm and went to 3 bars to finish. It was Rattlesnake Juice in Oasis Springs that got the quest finished for me. All the others I went to were labelled as nightclub. Rattlesnake Juice was labelled as Bar. That might have been the reason it worked.

I went to Rattlesnake in Oasis Springs, too..didn't want to mess about with DLC bars so chose a BG one. No problem with the ghost night, but the goal states it's optional to offer the Ambrosia your sim prepared.

Well.. optional, how? The only way I found to offer it was as a gift, and they don't eat it anyway. Why had our sims cooked this dish, now?

Found it straight forward enough - just went to a venue labelled "Bar" after 8pm, it magically completed pretty quickly after getting in there.

Had most of my problems with the silver medal event, I'd traumatised all my sims so much that save I had to start a whole new save where I hadn't unleashed plague and death upon the entire game to find sims that were happy enough to functionally perform any activities
