Sims 4 Achievements

The sims 4 should have achievements for steam! Its the only game that I have that does not have them and I think it'd be fun to collect them

Even I know how to code those in, but not sure Maxis does. We better off without them cause most probably they wouldn't work properly. Well, imo.

Definitely one major negative for me, not being able to have account tied achievements.

They don’t even bother that people can earn again steam trading cards. I doubt they will add Steam achievements to this game.

800 plus hours in and I never got a single card to drop, mastered the badge by buying all the cards o.O Got a bunch of DLC trough Steam so I'd think I'd be eligible. No biggy, just a weird fact.

Yeah, in other games they would just change the conditions but not EA. They seem not to care about that and the money which they get through this seems not worth investing time to *fix* it.

i would love achievements on steam

Achievements will not get added for various reasons why. At least some of these reasons include The Sims 3 not having any Steam achievements either, The Sims 4 could have had Steam achievements when it first came out which makes more sense than adding them right now, special scenario type games if interested could potentially help make up for lacking Steam achievements, and you can get recognized repeatedly for achievements on The Sims 4 multiple times instead of only just once with those pop ups which is contrary to Steam achievements where you get recognized for completing each achievement only once. Another reason as to why we will not get achievements which is newer has to do with these events and while they are infrequent I would not be surprised if they happen at least twice a year to help make up for not having achievements on Steam.
