the new update deleted my sims

why did the new update delete the sims i have already created? It also wont let me create a new one it doesn't save them. It will let me create and edit the new sim but when i go to create a new household with the sim, they never appear, i can't find them not figure out why this is happening. Also the mods, even when i deleted them and reinstalled them they didn't work.

I apologize for my English, I'm from the Czech Republic. After today's update and after loading any save it will destroy all characters. I'm playing without mod.

This is why it's VITAL to make backups of Saves, Tray and Mods folders before updating. Especially the Tray, since it contains all Sims you have created.

That's true, but I have auto-update turned on and I have no idea that any game has been updated.
