have the discovery quests had enough of me or something?

got the discovery quests turned off but for some damn reason its spamming me with the "travel somewhere and meet another sim" quest despite it being turned off, anyone know whats going on?

I only play TS4 since like a year, but those never worked properly for me. I can start a new game and never get them, and sometimes they pop up like, two in game years after I started a new save.

The fact they are turned on or off is irrelevant, I think like in the gallery (where you choose which pack NOT to show but it does nothing) - they wrote the button but forgot to program it.
