mods disabled
I have followed all those steps to enable my mods again and keep getting sent in a never-ending loop to enable my mods. What is going on>> these are simple steps and should work to enable my mods. So Why are my options to enable mods not working??? Help Please!

Did ur game update after you enabled mods?

the update Caused the mod dysfunction. sadly. My mods wont turn back on no matter what I try.

The same thing is happening to me. No matter how many times I reinstall them and restart the game as requested, it still won't let me re-enable them.
Something tells me that it must be a bug on the part of this update, which to be honest is very bad.

Is there any simple mod manager that can track the incompatible mods after the game updates?

No; Sims 4 modding was always awful if you compare it to Bethesda games. Maybe curseforge will change this in some years.

Better Exceptions from TwistedMexi can catch some outdated mods which don’t work anymore. There are some reports that the game slows down for some people if they use this mod for longer. Remove the mod if this happens for you.

Have you tried enabling just one mod (a simple one) does that work?. If it does then it's clearly one or more of your mods that's causing the problem. You could try repairing Sims 4 through the ea app or through steam file verification.

This is what Sims 4 Answers have to say about it (I think there are a couple of promising answers there, even though some of them are not the most current):

It is not Steam, this is mostly Windows or any security program to blame because the data which needed to be changed is on read-only.

Check your Options.ini and change scriptmodsenabled = 1 and modsdisabled = 0 save and start the game. GameVersion. txt is sometimes too on read-only <<. It is easier to delete it because the game will create a new one.

that did not work but I submitted a case to EA for help. EA is now working on a solution for the many of us players who are having the same issue. waiting for a new update as this is a shared problem. The agent I spoke to was very kind and real help will be coming soon. check for updates as needed. My case is open until they resolve it. Going in these circles of checking things for three days has exhausted me now. I* am working on being patient now.

Yeah, good luck with that. I can certainly assure you this problem will not get fixed by EA because it is not a problem with EA and rather a problem with your antivirus/or another program which messes with your data. It would be horrible if EA had so many rights on your computer.

Just to correct you with this, no, there are not many people which have this issue but this happen mostly because people have some stupid antivirus as Norton/McAfee or any other stupid thing which is preinstalled on their computer. These things do more harm than good.

If somebody want to honestly fix their issue try the solution which the hero posted in this topic; https://forums.ea.com/discussions/the-sims-4-technical-issues-pc-en/mods-do-not-appear/5030765

I still maintain that it is the fault of the last update that EA put in. Because I can assure you that ONE DAY BEFORE they released the update ALL my mods worked perfectly, and I emphasize that I always have the antivirus activated, so it is easy to deduce that the problem is not my computer or the mods, it is all EA's fault.
