Problem With cas.fulleditmode?
I recently purchased For Rent, installed it, and disabled all mods and CC until I could get updates that were post Life or Death release.

I created a new couple and started a new game for them but realized that the female Sim had a masculine voice (I neglected to set it during creation) and enabled testingcheats, and then cas.fulleditmode. I clicked on the sim expecting to find the option to Modify in CAS, but it did not appear.

Any ideas on why this would happen?

I cannot answer your question besides telling you that you need to use "shift+click" similar to that being required for teleporting and resetting sims and the issue you are experiencing is not dlc related, but I am not having any issues with that cheat and if you use the MCCC mod then you do not even need to use Modify in CAS if for some reason you cannot find it.

its called testingcheatsenabled true
and you shift-click the sim not just clicking
alternatively you can use MCCC to edit your sim

did you put the . at the end like that? if so then it wont work

also if you cant modify a sim from live mode you can always go back to the world view insert the cheat there then open the household tab and edit them from there

Quotation marks might have helped clear up some confusion, but I would be honestly suprised if timberwolf used a period at the end of "cas.fulleditmode". Anyone with common sense would not do that, but perhaps I am wrong.

You can change your sim voice whenever you like. You don’t even need cas.fulleditmode for it, using the household manager in world view is enough.

There are some problems with gallery Sims and if you meet them on cupid but this problem should not happen with own created sims.

Thanks to those who helped. I hadn't played for a while so I forgot that a "shift-click" was needed to modify the sim.

Thanks!
