Cant Drag Objects Around
1st of all - playing with zero mods since the fantastic Reaper Rewards event started. I dont have them active, and the Mod folder is 100% empty. That said...

When I try to drag an object into the ground, or to another sim, or from the ground to my sims inventory... I can't. It acts like it isn't possible, but it always was.

I can move fish, and that's about it... The rest can't be picked up, only sold (crystals, rocks, elements, plants, relics, books, frogs... none of this can be dragged out or in).

The only option I get at the Archaeology Table, for example, is DEVOUR, because I am playing with a werewolf. Otherwise, can't use the table because I cant take the objects out of it...

Restarted game, pc... It persists. I had this before but was gone after a restart. Anyone experienced this, and was able to find out how to fix?

Edit - pretty please don't tell me the save is corrupt, I've been setting this save up since 3 weeks now...

Also, If I place an object on the ground, I cant pick it back up - says I do not own the item o.O

are u using the "cheat" bb.moveobject On ?

eek i have very little knowledge I just use that mode but i truly dont know much Larry Roberts on chat is fantastic about issues. that being said my sims stopped working on this new patch sigh

Hum, the lot my sim is in came from the Gallery, I dont remember if i got the popup about that when I installed it, it was like 3 weeks ago, but chances are that yes.

The only workaround I found was to gift the items to another sim and then move them back, but its a really huge lot of items, that is not an option.

OK, if anyone is curious here is what is going on:

Old base game bug, never got solved. Very few reports on it. There is nothing you can do except gifting all the items to other sim and then gifting back to yours (if it is a sim on your household, you first gift the items and then you can just drag them back into the sim).

Apparently this happens / can happen when you move a very old household into a new lot (weird, my sim had 3 RL weeks of existence and about 1 year in the Sims), OR when you add a very old sim into a household.

So yeah, 3 weeks of work to the garbage. Oh well.
