Worth mentioning that the person I am specifically referring to is Alfred Pennyworth from D.C Comics and normally lives with Bruce Wayne. He probably never got married or had any children in the comics and that was the specific reason why I did not want him to get married or have any children. I assumed that if I moved him to the other households category he would stay single, but surprisingly I was wrong. Even if I do not use every part of that mod I might consider using Wonderful Whims mod in the future. The MCCC mod should not be causing sims who are supposed to stay single get married and have children, but I do not have any other explanation as to why Alfred Pennyworth got married even though he was not supposed to.
If the sim wasn't Aro I'd wonder if it was a science baby maybe? I don't know if that's an option for townies, or if it would even appear different somehow to know that was the case.
I do wish there was an easier way to just... turn off everything in MC, and then turn things on I want, instead of it being the opposite for a number of things (not everything, but most if I recall right).
Part of the problem with played households instead of other households (because you have more control over them than other households) has to do with the fact that while having a limit is optional for played households that still does not dismiss the fact that some people might want aging turned off for played households besides playing as the current household (although another option is turn off aging from the MCCC mod for as long as the player wants). If I for example want more interesting stories with more rotational gameplay that would help explain why I want aging turned off for played households besides the current household similar to what I noticed with what James Turner is doing with his most recent youtube videos. It would be more simplistic however if a sim in the other household category I want to remain single and no romance would stay that way according to the current sexual orientation settings. It is also weird that the computer might turn on romantic interest for one of the genders without the player's permission even if exploring romantically and romantic interest for both genders are currently turned off.
If I did not mention this on the forum then how many people would actually be aware of this problem with sexual orientation? Probably not everyone.
But remember, it's on by default for a reason.
