Turning off option for romance not working
One of my male sims who was not supposed to get married when switching from "my households" to "other household" got married to some random sim and had a baby together despite having from the sexual orientation part turned off for exploring romantically and turning off both genders for romantic interest. He also had the option for having sex turned off as well meaning he is not supposed to woohoo or try for a baby. Could it be because of the MCCC mod conflicting with the sexual orientation part to help explain why this does not seem to be working like it is supposed to? Another option is to make him infertile, but he was not supposed to get married and have children (besides maybe adoption from neighborhood stories) in the first place.

What is strange is that the option for having romantic interest towards women was turned on without my permission when he got married, because that is not supposed to happen. Like I said earlier but I am not certain of this maybe the MCCC mod conflicts with sexual orientation. Making sims stay straight, lesbian, or gay instead of bisexual seems to work when it comes to sexual orientation (such as for example having exploring romantically turned off but only have one gender selected for romantic interest) but not when it comes to making sims not interested in romance. He was also not supposed to have any babies with this woman, but apparently they had a newborn child together. It is unclear if they had a science baby or if he made her pregnant, but the child was clearly not adopted since it was a newborn.

I use WW protocols to add sims into various groups, can make a group for asexual etc as you wish and add all sims you want in there. Then add the rules for how you want them to behave.

Worth mentioning that the person I am specifically referring to is Alfred Pennyworth from D.C Comics and normally lives with Bruce Wayne. He probably never got married or had any children in the comics and that was the specific reason why I did not want him to get married or have any children. I assumed that if I moved him to the other households category he would stay single, but surprisingly I was wrong. Even if I do not use every part of that mod I might consider using Wonderful Whims mod in the future. The MCCC mod should not be causing sims who are supposed to stay single get married and have children, but I do not have any other explanation as to why Alfred Pennyworth got married even though he was not supposed to.

Just to note, MC tends to override a lot of things if you don't manually go in and change options. I haven't had this precise issue myself since the circumstances haven't happened, but outside of legacy saves I turn Neighbourhood Stories off. If you don't adjust literally everything in MC though, it will not care what your NS settings are (and the option to use only NS settings doesn't work, I've tested it multiple times [and I don't play with out of date mods, so it's not that]).

If the sim wasn't Aro I'd wonder if it was a science baby maybe? I don't know if that's an option for townies, or if it would even appear different somehow to know that was the case.
I do wish there was an easier way to just... turn off everything in MC, and then turn things on I want, instead of it being the opposite for a number of things (not everything, but most if I recall right).

Part of the problem with played households instead of other households (because you have more control over them than other households) has to do with the fact that while having a limit is optional for played households that still does not dismiss the fact that some people might want aging turned off for played households besides playing as the current household (although another option is turn off aging from the MCCC mod for as long as the player wants). If I for example want more interesting stories with more rotational gameplay that would help explain why I want aging turned off for played households besides the current household similar to what I noticed with what James Turner is doing with his most recent youtube videos. It would be more simplistic however if a sim in the other household category I want to remain single and no romance would stay that way according to the current sexual orientation settings. It is also weird that the computer might turn on romantic interest for one of the genders without the player's permission even if exploring romantically and romantic interest for both genders are currently turned off.

If I did not mention this on the forum then how many people would actually be aware of this problem with sexual orientation? Probably not everyone.

Uhh, what. You can turn off the romance? Really. Now why would I do a thing like that for. I mean, just saying, that's how people are/were made in the surreal life on the video game called the Sims 4 before this test tube Science baby crept in . Have we forgotten that this game imitates and mimics reality and allows the user to adjust anatomical features, contours and personalities? Sure, kill the Romance if you have children around or are/live in an environment of religious heretics. I definitely understand.

But remember, it's on by default for a reason.
