Wicked Whims mod not working.

I just installed the Wicked Whims mod.
After having some trouble from not having the Mods folder automatically installed, I eventually added the mod to the folder.
I had to follow the steps to create the folder. I named it "Mods". I made sure it was in the "The Sims 4" folder. I added the resource.cfg file.
After I booted up the game, nothing. I've never worked with mods before.
Will mods show up under the script mods?
Preferably someone who has this mod would be of greater help.
Because I can't tell whether or not it is working.

do you have wonderfull whims? or other mods that are remakes of wicked whims? becuase if you do delete them so that the mod will work

It is the only mod I have.

have you enabled allow custom content and scripts in the game menu? if not then wicked whims will not work

I did allow everything in the options. I checked the script mods, but there's nothing there.

you say you created the mod folder in the sims 4 folder but which one?

You don’t need to create a folder for yourself. Sims 4 will create this folder as soon you start the game and have enabled custom content/mods in the settings. The folder is per default located under your document folder. -> Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4

The time which you need to create this folder for yourself and add resource.cfg, is a thing from the past. Modding in Sims 4 got easy.

Go to the Wicked Whims web site, download the latest version of Wicked Whims and install it very carefully in accordance with instructions. Don't worry about resource.cfg it will be recreated, even with an empty mods folder.

Yeah the folder mods go in is in documents, not game install folder. In case that's the mistake you have made.

Game should already have that Mods folder and resource.cfg file inside at that location.

That's the thing, there is nothing under the Electronic Arts folder.
It's all under the SteamLibrary HDD folder.

This is what the folder line looks like.
D:\SteamLibrary HDD\steamapps\common\The Sims 4\Mods

This is the wrong place, there are the game data stored but not your settings. Your game will not find your mods there…. Check your document folder and search there for EA.

But there is nothing under my Elelctronic Arts file for The Sims 4.
As in, the sims 4 doesn't exist under that file.

I had to move my The Sims 4 folder to the D: Drive because of storage BS. I am having trouble getting the mods to even be seen by the game. When I redowload the wicked whims, it doesn't have the resource.cfg. Could that be part of the problem?
