CAS not opening

my CAS wont open as i get stuck on the loading screen for a long time. i restarted the game 3 times and no luck. i see other people got other struggles is it bc of the lovestruck update bug??? need help!

Yes this is happening to me too, with and without mods. Hopefully they patch it soon! :(

I tried CAS, very briefly, and it seems to be working fine for me. In fact I would, very much, like to thank you, because I was getting a message (as Sims 4 loaded) that some items had been 'removed'. Since I had that brief look at CAS I have open and closed the game a couple of times and I haven't seen that message since, so thank you. I found this page on the internet, I very much hope you find some help there. Good Luck.

yeah mine hasn't been working for days since the initial update, I uninstalled it completely and reinstalled even moved the game from my driver to my actual pc and yeah it's still not opening cas so I believe they need to update the game as a whole because this has been happening to many people and still isnt fixed </3

If your issue is a long white screen while entering CAS- it was a mod issue for me. Any mod that alters the state of CAS (i.e. Backgrounds, Sliders, columns, etc.) seem to be the issue. Something the mod authors will have to work out in their next update.

Yes you are right, it's always good practice to try the game with mod's folder content removed.

This would mean that you won't be able to use Steam add-ons, DLC or Kits etc.
