neighbourhood stories
Hi, how do I know when Neighbourhood stories are active, all the tabs such as leave career or adopt are green, or are they meant to be greyed out to say they are selected and active?

You want to disable neighbourhood stories, install MCCC and let it handle that stuff. Neighbourhood Stories will screw with your played families. And greyed is disabled.
