Caleb Vatore, RIP

Two times this guy kicked the bucket in two different saves. He's supposed to be the one that can stand sunlight.
Anyway, my Spellcaster can't abide by such a loss in the Vampire community (he's the only one that comes around in daylight. His sister can't) so he summons his ghost and resurrects him.
But he's not in any household... not in his old home, not in the homeless sims (townies).
Nor can I even put him in a household. The resurrected sim just hangs around for awhile and then you never see him again.
The spell is useless! A mockery of the Glory of what was Sims 3, where a witch could resurrect meant they're back in the game. No wonder there is no cemeteries in Sims 4.

No offense meant and I know that Youtuber Lilsimsie likes to kill him sometimes, but I think that Vladislaus Straud is more iconic to The SIms 4 than Caleb and Lilith Vatore. For example, despite him being a young adult I think that Vladislaus Straud is actually a lot older than Caleb and Lilith Vatore.

Oh no, not Caleb (I always end up befriending him)!! This happened to me before where I couldn't find a Sim in any of the households, but it was because I accidentally clicked the wrong button and added a Sim to my family. I removed her using "remove from family" or whatever and tried to go put her back with her actual family, but she was nowhere to be found. Not in my saved households or homeless (I didn't think to check hidden households because I forgot that was a function with MCCC). What I did to get her back was go play as her husband, use the statue from the Teleport Any Sim Mod, and summon her to the lot so I could add her back to his family (ironically using the Add to Family button that caused this problem in the first place). She was an OC, so of course I wanted to get her back. I could've exited to main menu, but I didn't want to lose progress. It's sad I have to use mods to even get my Sim back because she refused to appear in manage households.

You would think the game would add Caleb to the homeless Sims or something, but this is Sims 4 we're talkin' about lol. Nothing works the way you want it to smdh. Soooo you don't even have the option to use the Add to Family button by shift clicking him to temporarily add him to your family so you could transfer him back to his old home.. or?? O_o

I suppose I could make do with Vlad... He does come around, but he knocks over my trash can.

This is the point really. Resurrected sims should be added to the homeless population, and ghost sims should have a cemetery as their home! the player shouldn't have to resort to mods and complicated procedures to get a sim back.
