No reward at ceremony. Need help.
So I was nominated for a reward at the rewards ceremony with my sim being a level 3 celebrity, but did not win. Is this normal? How many times do I have to attend an award ceremony before my sim can get an award?

My sim arrived a little late at 7:00 instead of 6:00 p.m which was only one hour late. I watched other sims get rewards, but my sim got nothing. It is in reference towards Get Famous instead of High School Years.

It is worth mentioning from James Turner's video from years ago he had the same problem. Was expecting an award and went to the award ceremony on time, but got nothing. I was expecting to win, but go no reward.

It's been some time since I've played celebrity sims but when I'd been playing them, they'd often get notified of nominations for awards (pretty much weekly for actors). However, they'd only occasionally win them, which wasn't at every nomination ceremony.
In my experience, yes, this is normal. Also, if playing actors, I'd noted they were more likely to win than other types of celebrities. Still, they hadn't won every nomination.

My sim is an actor, but did not win. I had another sim nominated at the same time who was not an actor that arrived later because of work who was nominated for selling books for fame, but neither of them got an award. The award however I think is not really needed, unless if going for the Master Actor/Actress aspiration as well. The sim I was not really going for that aspiration yet was the one had made lots of fame from just selling books, but was not an actor yet.

If you've got an actor sims working towards that aspiration, I'd just recommend attending the ceremonies at each nomination. Eventually, they do win. It may just be a while of going away empty handed, but that's really quite realistic.
