Will The Sims 4 ever get fairies?
I know that a lot of people are thinking we will get fairies eventually on The Sims 4, but there a few problems with this even with there being a mod for fairies with the most recent stuff pack now leaving me with some doubts about fairies coming as a new occult. The first of which is that we already have fairy like stuff scattered throughout different packs such as Realm of Magic (such as spellcasters and various other stuff that might have something to do with fairies from this pack) and Spooky Stuff being the most obvious examples of this, but possibly from other packs as well. Also, Crystal Creations has to be factored in as well that cannot be ignored where items need charging from the moon, but if I am not mistaken fairies also took advantage of the moon as well from The Sims 3. Gemology I think is somewhat similar (but not entirely) to the spellcaster and (only because of it relating to the moon) werewolves on The Sims 4, fairies on The SIms 3, and being able to use magic and alchemy without being an occult on The Sims (2000) from Makin' Magic expansion pack. With that last example mentioned from the first SIms game a comparison is worth noting, because gemology I think is comparable to using magic, but without using actual spells and alchemy while at the same time not needing to be an occult in order to take an advantage of using magic from the new gemology skill.

I still hope we'll get them.

Would fairy abilities be based on the moon on The SIms 4 just like werewolves, The Sims 3 fairies, and Crystal Creations? I am assuming yes, but they would also need special abilities as well that specifically make them standout from from being different in comparison to spellcasters. Basically, spellcasters on The Sims 4 replace the need for both genies and witches, but there is something about fairies that seem to make them stand out the most in comparison to other occults that use magic. Crystal Creations I think is in fact the first pack where sims who are not occults can use magic. Paranormal for example includes superstition content (Bonehilda, ghosts, and etc...), but I do not think it is necessarily a pack that includes magic.

It would certainly have to be a game pack. They were nicely done in Sims 3 Supernatural, and unique to the other occults. I don't see why Maxis couldn't set them apart from the other three major occults in the right manner. All of the occults have their respective connections to the moon so I don't think it's out of sorts to include Fae. There are different types, as well. Some faeries are tricksters, which would be a brilliant addition if Maxis could distinguish them from Mischief Mages. All it would require is a bit of history on faeries. There are all kinds..the generous gift-giving or protective to the unspeakably wicked (which they definitely wouldn't include). Based on the other three occult GPs, I think they could add them as a fourth.

Faries, Zombies, And Imaginary Friends are the only life states from previous games missing in sims 4 (I am not including Blumbots, they are just better SimBots). Though I doubt we'll ever see any of them return. not that it matters, Sims 3 was better any way.

Simbots were a disaster. So are Servos. Both are hard to make and prone to dying for no good reason at all. My first Simbot died in a sprinkler, and my first servo just blew up for I don't know why.
I used plumbots, tho. Got a garden? Want a BIG garden? Make a plumbot with a gardener chip. Don't like fixing things? Add a repair chip. Too busy to handle the baby right now? Add a Nanny chip. They were great, useful. But we don't get them.

TS4 Servos are a pain if you have Seasons installed. If it rains, they're done for. Then again, I've never actually built one so I don't know if there's some sort of waterproof upgrade you can add.

I'm not sure we'll get zombies. A lot of 3 players found them annoying. I wouldn't mind having them back for the complete experience. IFs were adored, though. Tons of players want them in 4. ... I just loved to watch them run..pmsl every time. :))
