Would fairy abilities be based on the moon on The SIms 4 just like werewolves, The Sims 3 fairies, and Crystal Creations? I am assuming yes, but they would also need special abilities as well that specifically make them standout from from being different in comparison to spellcasters. Basically, spellcasters on The Sims 4 replace the need for both genies and witches, but there is something about fairies that seem to make them stand out the most in comparison to other occults that use magic. Crystal Creations I think is in fact the first pack where sims who are not occults can use magic. Paranormal for example includes superstition content (Bonehilda, ghosts, and etc...), but I do not think it is necessarily a pack that includes magic.
It would certainly have to be a game pack. They were nicely done in Sims 3 Supernatural, and unique to the other occults. I don't see why Maxis couldn't set them apart from the other three major occults in the right manner. All of the occults have their respective connections to the moon so I don't think it's out of sorts to include Fae. There are different types, as well. Some faeries are tricksters, which would be a brilliant addition if Maxis could distinguish them from Mischief Mages. All it would require is a bit of history on faeries. There are all kinds..the generous gift-giving or protective to the unspeakably wicked (which they definitely wouldn't include). Based on the other three occult GPs, I think they could add them as a fourth.
I used plumbots, tho. Got a garden? Want a BIG garden? Make a plumbot with a gardener chip. Don't like fixing things? Add a repair chip. Too busy to handle the baby right now? Add a Nanny chip. They were great, useful. But we don't get them.
I'm not sure we'll get zombies. A lot of 3 players found them annoying. I wouldn't mind having them back for the complete experience. IFs were adored, though. Tons of players want them in 4. ... I just loved to watch them run..pmsl every time. :))
