No social menu after update

I have no social menu on any of my Sims, I also can't interact with other sims only environment stuff. I tried multiple files, creating a new Sim, turning stuff on and off. Anyone know how to fix this?

If you've got mods, remove them and delete your localthumbcache.package file.

I tried this, but sadly, no menu still. Thank you though! Guess I will have to wait.

I have this problem, I just updated the game and it is impossible to play.
If you can fix it, tell me how you did it, I'll be grateful.

The only problem I have is the mail box is limited I can only check mail fortunately i'm still able to pay bills.

I dont have mods or any CC and im running into this issue. Ive tried verifying the files and restarting my whole pc. Nothing. Hate to see it.

I checked the game files and they are ok, I think the problem is with the update, if so, we can only wait for the fix with another update.

It’s not a mod issue. Its happen to PC player without any mods + console player. The new patch broke some sims. JDLgnd posted the correct topic for it; please push the *me too* button from the first post in the linked topic.

Does anyone know how long it usually takes to fix things like this? The game is just unplayable atm for me and no way to fix it. I read something about get famous being one of the problems, that is the last dlc I bought actually.

Have you the singing skill with these sims? Have you tried the marked solution in the linked topic from JDLgnd? EA is always slow in fixing bugs. So, I would try the work-a-round if you don’t want to wait 1 – XX months.

I think all my sims have real high singing skills yes, I tried all solutions people suggested in the forums so far :/

So lowering singing skill to 1 with stats.set_skill_level Major_Singing 1 fixes it temporary
Sadly I was just trying my sims to get famous lol. So I will still have to wait for a better fix.
