Then just make your own sims or grab a bunch from the gallery to get decent variety into your game.
thanks i will download MCCC now.
From any sim computer, click on MCCC > MC Population > Import Tray Settings
You'll have a list of options...
Import Tray Percent - This should be set to 100 (maximum). The mod will then only pull generated sims from your Library. If you don't create enough of your own sims to satisfy default positions, you can download whichever you like off gallery. Be sure you have enough sims in your Library for all packs you own.
Import Tray Type - The default is Any Saved. You can also choose Only Mine (sims you create) or Only Others (sims you've downloaded to your Library off gallery or elsewhere). Any Saved is the best option if you both create sims as well as download them.
There are also other settings you can adjust:
Include Gender Options - Enable/Disable changes to sims' genders. Example, if you create or download a female sim, the mod will not generate that sim as a male if this option is Enabled. Note: Be mindful, this also includes any set orientations.
Include Clothing - Enable/Disable changes to clothing. Sims will spawn in clothing (all categories) as created/downloaded if Enabled.
Import Sim Name - You may choose as you like but Skip If Sim Exists may be the best option as the mod won't generate sims (by name) which are already in your world.
Import Bypass Appearance - Enable/Disable any changes to sims' physiques, hairs, details, ages, etc. The mod will generate them as is if Enabled.
You may also use the Limit Import by Tags option (specifically if other settings aren't filtering as well as you'd like). You'd need to tag the sims/families somewhere within the description with #mccc_include (or if you don't want a particular sim generated, tag it with #mccc_bypass). Similarly to how the game auto tags pet breeds, you'd add these mod tags for inclusion into/bypass from your game. As it's a time consuming process and may slow down game load times, using MC tags is only recommended if you're still seeing randomly generated townies using all previous settings to import your gen pop (which, theoretically, shouldn't happen).
Note: MCCC does all but import sims' Traits. These will be randomised.
thank you this helps a lot. too bad this new update broked my wicked sims
you should enter the debug mode and spawn only female young adult see what you get XD
Anytime I play with a lesbian or gay couple from dlc (Tinker family, Hecking family, and etc..) I allow something bad to happen such as death/divorce (instead of deleting a sim/household) before making at least one of them straight while the other might remain unmarried if not killed, but otherwise I ignore them mostly. My overall preference is straight sims during my gameplays instead of lesbian sims. It might be an unpopular opinion, but I like the male and female sims equally on The SIms 4. I have also noticed the opposite as well of some women (but not youtuber lilsimsie where she more commonly plays with female sims and now non binary sims as well such as They/Them) preferring male sims over female sims during gameplays.
yep the algorithm is trash
sadly yep. which wasn't like this when I played during launch for star wars pack.
Sounds like homophobia, dude.
Never really had a problem with the nature of my townies tho.
Not all gay and lesbian couples have a successful marriage in real life and not all gays and lesbians are nice people if you get to know them. Take Rosie O'Donnell for example and her first wife getting divorced (although she is still lesbian even after she wanted a divorce) or Ellen Degeneres who is known for being mean off screen and behind the scenes. My point is there are many different ways to play The Sims 4 that is not limited to only just gay, lesbian, bisexual, and queer sims.
Someone could make every sim straight if he or she wanted to depending on play style preferences, but could be a lot of work depending on how many worlds and dlc that person owns. Without going off topic too much I have no major issue with fat/ugly sims besides randomly generated ones with male sims that may look awkward with cc (custom content) makeup on male sims contrary to female sims where I have to manually remove it to make male sims look less ugly without cc makeup on. There needs to be some kind of realism where not every randomly generated sim needs to be skinny/beautiful and contrary to youtuber lilsimsie who probably would have no problem with this since she overall seems to prefer female and nonbinary sims over male sims (besides the hotdog man Stanley who is her only male sim that specifically stands out as being iconic from her youtube videos) not every randomly generated sim needs to be female.
Also, every time I age up one of the kids to teenagers, the game decides they need to be overweight, too, even though they weren't as kids. In fact, most of my Sims' kids tend to be very active, always on the move, making good use of the monkey bars and the swing, and I make sure they eat healthy, too. It's a bit annoying 'cause it doesn't make any sense whatsoever, and I don't get the reasoning behind it. If the Sims are constantly overeating and doing no exercise at all - ok. Makes perfect sense. But athletic Sims with a healthy lifestyle? That's a bit unrealistic.
