Teen Werewolf Sparring?
Are werewolf teens unable to spar? Or is it maybe they're only able to spar with other teens? I can locate no option for her to spar with YA/Adult werewolves. However, when she'd gone to meet Greg. he had no problem effing her up. :shibadog: She's my first teen werewolf so I'm not 100% sure about mod interference. Any experiences?

i've not played any werewolves myself so cant say for certain but what i found via internet is you can only spar if you got the transformation mastery perk

I never tried teen werewolf. But teen vampires also can't do vampire sparring too..

Thanks. Yeah, I suspected it may be her age because she's already mastered transformation. It kind of sucks, as it does for my vampire teen (although she has other tasks to complete). They're full on occults but have no way to acquire certain experiences they need. My sorcerer isn't limited by age. She can have magic duels with sims of any age, including the Sages.. as it should be for the others, imho.

Ah well, at least my girls don't have many more days to YA. My werewolf will have her revenge on Greg. xD

It's so strange if EA/Maxis limit the "sparring interaction" for teenagers for any reason (maybe such as "they're still minors" etc etc).
But in the other hands, the 'dueling' interaction is available on teen spellcaster.

Let's hope someday the dev will update this issue.
(however I still doubt the dev pay attention on this)

The only thing I can think is that magic duels are not physical fights, so it's less likely to be construed as promoting abuse or something? Since in a physical fight, people could get real upset and such at an adult beating up a teenager. With our magic peeps it's all... magic.

I guess their 'magic is okay' logic might make more sense to me if Greg hadn't handed my teenager her 4rse. He must be an exception to the rule against adults beating up teens, because that's a genuine raging fight with him. It left my teen wolf with an injured buff for a few sim hours. That was my bad, I admit. I had taken her into his territory to greet the hospitable, old hound.

Still, I think of sparring for werewolves and vampires more as essential tutoring rather than actual fighting. It's a friendly occult interaction. Also, magic it may be, but the loser of a magic duel takes a pretty hard faceplant, haha!
Strange logic for non-human sims meant to spar, though, especially since Greg's a spanner.

Theres a difference between Being Harry Potter and Beating up a Minor... You wouldn't want to see Someone beating up your Teens without knowing that it was sparring would you?

In other words some people would interpret this as Harassing a Minor when taken out of context...

Players have to click on the sparring interaction (on the menu), though, so they do know it's sparring. It's a friendly occult interaction, as mentioned.

Also as mentioned, Greg beating up a teen isn't sparring or friendly. It's Greg beating the eff out of a teen. That's what I don't understand if this was EAxis's logic. It's not fine for werewolves (or vamps) to have a friendly spar if they're adult/teen but it's fine for Greg to aggressively kick a teen's bum?? That IS beating up a minor, yet it's programmed into the Werewolves GP.

Tbh, I'm not sensitive to it. They're occult sims. I wasn't appalled after my wolf girl's fight with Greg. Werewolves aren't human sims.

I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate that tv show

Sorry. I was referring to The Sims 4 occult GPs here, specifically the Werewolves GP. Whatever's 'that tv show', I've never seen it.

Yeah, is the same stupidity as with vampires. Teen can only spar with teens in vanilla.

I know we have a mod for vampires which remove the restriction, I don’t think a mod for werewolves sparring exist. I guess the reason is teens are rather unpopular and occults teens are a rarity. So, you get such mods only from people which love to play teens which dislike this restriction.

I don't mind teens but they're usually sorcerers, which are easy of course. My companions and I wanted to do something different for this save, starting with an occult mother having one of each of the five occult babies (all girls). I still wanted to include a mermaid and alien kid although they don't do much.
The plan was to revisit various worlds, aspirations, careers and other neglected or never experienced gameplay with the girls beginning from teen stage (around their school hours). In essence, we'll do just about everything with them..or try to do.

At this point, my sorcerer and vampire are now YAs, my werewolf is less than two sim days away and their sisters aren't far behind.
I haven't had a lot of time to play in recent weeks, but I was hoping to get an early start on their primary occult aspirations. My sorcerer was the only one able to complete both Spellcaster and Potions aspirations as a teen.

Thanks, though. It's good to know there's a mod, at least for vampire teens if ever I may need one again.
