game won't launch

I have a chromebook, and i have steam. but it will not launch the Sims 4. it does not give me an error, it just doesn't load. ive uninstalled and reinstalled. my chromebook meets all the requirements.

I have Asus workbook windows 11 6 month old laptop
so i had played Sims 4 for several hours then i went to play again and could not get the game to launch
how do i reinstall it or fix so it will launch?

Same here, EA's garbage app is telling me I am in the wrong account. I don't have access to the game, it loaded at one point and told me I have on expansions.

EA is a bit rubbish at this stuff it seems. I do not anticipate answers any time soon and when they do not come I'll hit Steam up for a refund - I mean, it's Sims so it's a time sink really.
