Sims 4 households and lots deleted
I have no clue if this has anything to do with the recent update or not, but this happened out of nowhere.

I launched the game after installing an update and a new patch. I saw a notification on my sidebar from the EA app stating that it won't run the tray files. I didn't think it was a big deal, but I questioned if it had anything to do with my saved households and lots. Lo and behold, all of my households and created lots were completely gone, along with me being signed out of my EA account and unable to access my DLC. I tried launching the game through the EA app to see if I could regain my progress, but the only thing different was that I could access my DLC.

I don't know where to go from here. I recalled back to interactions I had with my PC earlier, and the only thing I did was restart it before I ran the game. There's no possible way I could've somehow messed up my game files by doing that, right?

Are you guys having this same issue? Do you know how to fix it?

Thanks in advance.

Little bit of an update: I went to my Tray folder as suggested, and I noticed that a completely new Sims 4 game file was created, and the file that had all of my progress in it was renamed. Anyway, I deleted the new game file and renamed the old one back to The Sims 4. That's pretty much what fixed it.

Thank you guys for the help!
