Raising babies? Wanna do magic? Long term game where your sims grow up, get married have kids and die? Vampires?
Read the reviews. Many DLCs are not worth buying. Spa day, Weddings, restaurants, etc. Some folks will swear by them, but ... well, they may have other inspirations for saying so than you would naively think.
You would have to wait a few month, but it is a lot cheaper to do it like that.
"But that guy's doing it!" Doesn't work
Some of the DLC is just not worth it. Last good DLC was the haunted house one. Everything since and a lot before it were just not worth it.
also i find it funny how everyone comes to this forum to complain about 1200$ worth of DLC when train simulator with its 10k worth of dlc exists
Anyone with enough common sense would not buy every single dlc without a bundle (which are always cheaper than individual packs even when not on sale) and/or discount. If someone buys only a few dlc for each month (except for kit packs because two of them are the same price as stuff packs and it could be argued that cc is better because it is free) that is more easily affordable than buying it all at once. What I mean by getting only a few dlc for each month I am specifically referring to bundles first before buying any individual packs that do not come with a bundle (such as Growing Together, Horse Ranch, High School Years, and etc...) because they are the cheapest especially when there is no discount sale going on for anyone who is impatient and does not want to wait for the next discount sale despite discount sales being frequent with The SIms 4 on Steam.
Late. but as someone who owns the DLCs you literally HAVE to buy the bundles (by finding them) when they're on sale because you save so much money by doing so.
