The Sims™ 4
mods not working
this started today after the update, I started to run my game and my mods were off, and I know it happens every time there's an update so it didn't bother me, so I enabled them and then re-started the game but they were still off, so I did the same process of enabling them and still doesn't work???, I checked if they were in the right folder and they are so, help pleaseeee😩😩😩

yep i know, i make sure to do that every time i open the game, and they still don't work
I wonder why this didn't happen to me. I have mods too but after the update the game didn't turn my mods off. I played a bit and noticed some thumbnail icons missing but thats it.
What I always do is cut the mods and CC's out of the mods folder, move them, temporarily to another folder/drive, do the update, run the game very briefly, shut the game, replace the mods to the mods folder and cross my fingers. This time I got lucky and everything seems to be working okay, but I have had to update some mods a few days later when the mod updates have been released. By the way it used to be possible to turn off Automatic Updates for Sims 4, but I can't see how to that anymore (I can see it for Sims Delivery, but not for Sims 4 updates).

tysm! it seems like it already fixed itself but I'm gonna remember this for future updates
There is an anti-cheat clause that you accept when you install TS4. I don't know if that covers mods, but I was thinking about it when I was reading it. I don't use mods, but I always see all of the questions about them.
Saaaame here. And nothing works :(( anyone fixed it ?
tried to remove the mod folder and re-add it, but they are all broken :'^)
It's in the patch notes that mods might not work at the moment FYI
I played the game without mods. It really doesn't change much.

How do you cheat in a single player game? who are you cheating?
Isn't the idea to have fun? If you use mods and have fun, is that really cheating? Why would anyone care about how I play the game?

this is my first time experiencing an update where i had mods previously: do mods work if this event ends, you think? o:

If you could mod anything to how you wanted it, what would be the point of selling DLC? I know you all think that everything should be free and everyone should work solely for the purpose of pleasing you, but that's not how it works in the real world.

Kinda a side issue to the "how can you cheat in a single player game if you're having fun" issue, but ...
Ever play Dungeons and Dragons? They guy who makes the dungeon will get no fun from playing his own dungeon. Simple as. Why? Knows to much.

I don't think I said it should be free. I speak out about piracy, I understand that the game has a large and diverse market and not every DLC will be one I want to play, nor am I delusional.
I think the anti-cheat clause is for other games that are multiplayer.
How do get accused of cheating to EA if no one knows how you play your game?
