Interesting, but if you do not need the crystal because of the needs no one trait then do not use it. If you have the MCCC mod try to test what happens if you remove "Needs No One" trait, but add it back on to see if that makes a difference. It is technically not cheating since already had it to begin with. Crystals should not break traits you purchased with satisfaction points and that is a little concerning as well. The thing about these crystals is that I think it only works best on your home lot when charged meaning you lose its effects if you make your sim go somewhere else.

Apparently, nobody has tested yet to see what happens if "needs no one" trait is turned off from MCCC mod and turned back to see if it fixes the problem with something that appears to be a bug, but only after it turns back on from MCCC turning it back on/use MCCC mod for increasing just enough satisfaction points (5,000) to get the trait back after removing it. If this works for "Needs No One" then it will probably work for other traits as well added from satisfaction points. LIke I had mentioned previously if your sim does not really need crystal effects for needs (social, hunger, and etc...) because of satisfaction points spent on them already then do not use the crystal and maybe even sell it.

I just want to add that the effect of crystal being limited to lot only I think is only for gemstone and not for jewelry. If using a gemstone I think it effects the entire lot only, but if using jewelry I think it only effects one sim. However, the effect I think should work outside of home lot as well.
