Crystal Creations seems similar to Realm of Magic, but fun
Lilsimsie and others (including EnglishSimmer) made youtube videos about this, but these gems and crystal are so strong and powerful when I watched the first gameplay video that I am under the impression it is is similar to Realm of Magic, except your sim does not really need to be a spellcaster anymore to take an advantage of stuff that is part of the game instead of cheating. Yes, there probably are some differences between gems and crystals vs spellcasters, but the first time I watched a gameplay video about this I was entertained and never got bored. Lilsimsie did however admit that the tree part she cheated with because apparently it can take a long time before the crystal tree reaches magnificent stage meaning that the aspiration is meant to be an actual challenge and not something that be done easily. Your sims could potentially make a lot of simoleons as well from this stuff packs just for rags to riches.

I was a little skeptical at first, but the first youtube video I watched blew me away. Even for people who are not really interested in playing with occults that much (including werewolves, spellcasters, vampires, and etc...) this seems to be a fun little pack even if the original stuff from CaS and from build and buy seems to be mainly just occult (especially for spellcasters, werewolves, and maybe vampires) and Parnormal related (such as summoning Grim Reaper for example instead of Bonehilda) besides the unlockables from the gemology skill.

I do not have access to The SIms 3 store anymore. I permanently lost everything from The SIms 3 store (but fortunately I did not lose any Sims 3 dlc) and any attempt to download it again always fails even when logged in to The Sims 3 store. As for being better or worse than jewelcrafting in The Sims 3 I think that it is possibly better than jewelcrafting in The SIms 3 or at least equal. It definitely does not seem to be worse. Also, I only recently purchased Crystal Creations as well meaning that I did not preorder.

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗗𝗟𝗖.

But you know.. EA intently made it separated, so they can make you all guys keep spending money into their crooked vault.

I also played this dlc recently and enjoyed it. I was also surprised at how easy it was for me to find a jet crystal without cheating despite it being rare.

Even though The SIms 4 is expensive I do not necessarily hate EA/The Sims 4. They should have never added the shopping cart button however which you can even see from CaS as well. That was a mistake even if EA is not willing to openly admit it. Contrary to popular opinion I do not think that The Sims 3 is necessarily better than The SIms 4 (especially with me permanently losing everything I purchased from The Sims 3 store since 2023 that I cannot get back even when logged in to The Sims 3 store), but just different.

More DLC for DLC. Can't wait for Project Rene.

After playing more with this pack I noticed it has cross compatibility with Eco Lifestyle involving the Maker trait. And so, if someone is interested in more than just using stuff from this pack and woodworking it finally has some other use besides just those two. That also means in the future if maker trait pops up for adding as a new trait I am more likely to click yes instead of no. Even with an emergency patch I overall love this stuff pack and enjoy it as well when mixing gameplay with this combined with haunted residential from Paranormal as well.

I figured since this adds a little bit of gameplay with Grim Reaper why not factor in Bonehilda as well (which I also used the MCCC mod to make her become pregnant and give birth immediately after I temporarily added her to family since by default from the sexual orientation update she is apparently not interested in romance)? The only stuff packs anyway that are completely bug free or mostly bug free are the most boring ones anyway that add very little if any gameplay (such as Romantic Garden only adds gameplay from wishing well, Cool Kitchen only adds a tiny bit of gameplay with ice cream even though it can make sims get fat that I hardly ever play with, gameplay from My First Pet is only limited to hamsters that I hardly ever use with this entire pack, and various other stuff packs that seem like they do not add enough gameplay). Crystal Creations in contrast seems to have added more gameplay than any other stuff pack I have played including even Paranormal and Home Chef Hustle or at the very least at the same level as Paranormal and Home Chef Hustle (which interesting enough has a selling feature identical to this stuff pack as well where you could potentially get rich from it).
