My Sim Cant interact with self/other sims?

Ok so I JUST downloaded the new update (I have no mods nor have ever installed any) now one of my sims cant interact with other sims. I googled it and it said removing the mods folder? I don't seem to be the only one having this issue, anyone else getting this same issue?

I can't interact on my sims and i know i'm not alone with this issue, and it's only after the new update, idk how to do but you are not alone... maybe this will repair with a new update soon, i hope so

Same issue here and tried several things to fix it and no luck at all.

There is a temporary workaround: cheat set your singing skill back to 1 if your sims singing skill level goes above 5 it will bug out again. so keep an eye on them. (This only seems to work if you have city living expansion) Sounds weird i know. Hope they patch it soon because at least one of my sims loves singing.

Mine won't interact with self/others either, I will try the singing cheat. (I tried removing all mods and verified the integrity of the game.

Singing at 1 worked for me - even with my mods (no scripts).

Ctrl+Shift+C

Then in the white box that appears in the upper left type:
type:
testingcheats true
stats.set_skill_level Major_Singing 1

Ctrl+Shift+C will shut the white command box again.

That fixed it for me (I pulled out MCC and TMex scripts - left all my other mods)

100% They broke the game.. super upset ngl .. I think it's a waiting game now? No mods or anything else here too so it's on them.

Sim's direct communication mentioned on x/twiter that they are aware of the problem and are fixing it asap.

I'm encountering the same problem with my celebrity sims only. They can only interact with objects and pets.

Yeah, same here, just have expansion packs no mods. Game is basically unplayable now

Are your celebrities singers? Try the cheat codes to set the singing skill to 1 - you can always set it back after the fix (if this works).

I use PC.
Ctrl+Shift+C

If you want to turn cheats back off just type "testingcheats false" before you close the command box

To set it back to 10 later, repeat the above with the 1 replaced by a 10 (or whatever).

They just did hotfix. Make sure you are updated and verify files. It seems to have fixed the issue completely for me.
