sorry but have you taken a look onto the statistics lately? if it was "normal" you'd have equal amounts of gender change surgeries, plus, if it was normal, you'd have equal numbers @ hetero/♥♥♥♥/asexuality. the fact that it's not normal is why it has always been a "minorities"-topic-thing. the fact that there suddenly seems to be massively more gays around the globe is owed to it being so hyped lately. numbers will normalize within 30 years, you'll see. then you can check statistics again, compare to todays statistics and think about what is "normal". i'll give you a hint tho: the definition of "normal" is, what the biggest subpart of the entirety enjoys/does - and going by that, we all can only agree that we should do it the japanese way and forbid showing affection in publics entirely.

this. just ignore all of the pro-lgbtq responses here and use cas.fulleditmode on anything you don't want to see in your sims world. it's your sims game and you can enjoy it how you want.

make sure your cheats are on and edit them when you see them, or you can go to manage worlds, manage households and edit them all from there. you can fix their appearance and change their preferences as well. that's what I did and now I can enjoy my game on my machine the way I want.

At work in the real world, I must adapt to the unhinged narcissists around me who are all "me me me me. my identity is all important." ..basically they are all very sensitive and spoiled. When they tell me about their identity and their feelings, they assume I care. As long as I'm careful not to say a mean word that might upset them, I can continue to collect a paycheck.

In my game, I can create a world that I want. My sims world is very european, far eastern and straight. :) And since any lbgtq person here enjoys their game their way, I'm sure they "don't really care" about how I enjoy my game but I'm sure they won't be able to help themselves and will have to comment. I'll just smile and be proven right. My silence does not equal acceptance, just like silence is not violence. Remember that nonsense? lol

Anyway you can also download mc command. There's no reason that you have to tolerate pronouns and lgbtq stuff in your sims world.

As a favor to the special folk here who seem to snidely tell you to "just take it" ...I blocked them. They are all free to block me as well. Better for us all if they can forget that I exist as I will forget that they exist.

You can also use the MCCC mod (https://deaderpool-mccc.com/index.html) to make sims and put them in your local gallery. Tag the once you want to be used to add to your game with #mccc_include
Then MCCC > MC Population > Populating Settings > Import Tray Settings > Limit Import By Tags and you can set it to select only sims you made and tagged for inclusion in the game.
Not really possible to "wipe out everyone other than the played family". I believe you can do that with MCCC, but they just come back 100% "pudding faced". You can change them, however.
