Paralives might be coming earlier than expected
My prediction as to when Paralives would come out varied. At first I thought at the earliest it would come out is late 2024 but after The SIms 4 turns 10 years old from early September (but highly unlikely where I was doubting it would come out that early), 2025, or 2026, and possibly come out before The Sims 5 (which at the time I did not know about Project Rene yet), but then later on I was thinking that Paralives may not come out until after Project Rene (The Sims 5?) and possibly as late as 2027. However, new information has come out about Paralives early access coming 2025 (but not known yet as to when specifically for 2025 with early access), only basegame will cost money, and all dlc expansions will be free with the last part of that I was not expecting and completely blew me away because it contradicts The Sims 4 where only basegame is permanently free while its dlc usually costs money.

While there are various other videos about this I will share a link to Pixelade from the comment section below. It may not have the best graphics where some people might like and others do not like, but important to keep in mind that only a small team is working on this and I think that they really are trying hard to compete with The Sims 4. If games like Inzoi (but made from South Korea apparently and I do not think it is available on Steam) and especially Paralives (not sure if it will come out before Project Rene at this point but perhaps it is possible from recent video) and Life By You all come out before Project Rene then EA might be under pressure to make The Sims 4/Project Rene better because of more competition with new games like Inzoi and Life By You that probably will come out before Project Rene in addition to possibly Paralives coming out before Project Rene as well. While I do not know when Project Rene is coming out I am still predicting 2025 or 2026 (early or mid 2026?) for when it comes out officially and if Project Rene comes out earlier than EA had previously planned because of competition that is not necessarily a good thing either.

Pixelade's video, but important to keep in that other people have made recent videos as well about this and not just Pixelade. Video in my opinion is not too long, but it is 18 minutes. Also, not related to video, but 2025 release for Paralives is officially confirmed recently as well on Steam. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7l9zxoOEN7U

It is however worth mentioning that even though dlc is going to be free and Paralives may not ever have a subscription (mainly because subscriptions are controversial and many people do not like them), it is not known how much it is going to cost for getting basegame. In theory it might be on the pricey side such as $40 or $50 USD at least when it first comes out, but some people apparently believe that Paralives makes enough money just from Patreon.

Even from Pixelade's video about Paralives being officially confirmed for 2025 at least a few of them commenting are skeptical. A person named @SimlikeitHot for example is very skeptical about Paralives even with it having free dlc who mentioned that being free does not always mean better from one of his or her comments. Paralives is not entirely without controversy even if it does come out officially for 2025 and should be obvious as to why some people may not like it just like Inzoi (apparently no LGBT+ content is included unless if false advertising, made from South Korea instead of the United States, and not available on Steam) and Life By You (various other reasons for not liking that are not necessarily for the same exact reasons as Inzoi/Paralives).

keep in mind how much is spent building the game up from scratch, the man hours, resources, work space and bills. it would have cost a lot of money to get it to a point where it can sell. it's likely to be pricey given the circumstances.

Ah I don’t mind the graphic. Although I can’t get my mind how they can provide free DLC on a long run. People cost, and I don’t want that they save there on money. They could stay forever on Patreon, but I have my doubts that you can run a longtime business with this if you are not a single/double developer.

I am more interested in Live by You as on Paralive. I read Paralive want focus more on RL, so I doubt they get ever occults. Live by You was open to occults.

I noticed it being mentioned about Paralives in some ways being similar to The SIms 2 if you watched Pixelade's youtube video/payed attention to the comments, but obviously without the occults being included.
