Gardening Asp-no credit for last evolve

-Evolve 10 Excellent plants-before I added seasons my Sim (s) were able to get credit and complete Aspiration. After seasons, tried 3 different Sims-2 from old household and 3rd was a brand-new Sim/household. No problem with any of the other Aspirations. Unable to figure out how to disable or maybe un/reinstall DLC to see if that would fix. Any suggestions?

I always have to cheat this one, because it constantly either doesn't count when I evolve a plant, or the counter resets to 0 any time I travel. I've never been able to get the credit for this one naturally. (Vanilla game, no mods, no cc, not many packs)

It used to work, although the same is true of goals for a number of aspirations. The game doesn't register your sim's completed them. I've noticed this also happens with certain Growing Together milestones which had previously worked.
