How do I enter first person mode? shift and tab doesnt work : (

steam overlay doesn't pop up as well

To enter first-person mode, all you need to do is press [SHIF] + [TAB] at the same time.

Do you still have your steam overlay keybind set to shift + tab? Cause if so it's weird both of those things aren't working and unfortunately it would point to the problem being with your system rather than the game.

of course it is working
of course as always fault should be user system, on my system shift tab works on either steam games and Ubisoft launcher (rainbow six siege) games but not ea launcher the sims 4 game tho but sure my system is faulty

Steam Overlay is broken for some user after the last EA update. EA says Steam is to blame. Steam say EA is to blame because it happens after they update their wonderful APP again. My bet it is something with Windows and EA APP, because it happens mostly to user which have Windows 11 (The overlay works again if you add EA APP as extern game on Steam. Just start EA APP via Steam, then EA Game ABC). I say we blame the Illuminati, is just easier.

Good to know Xeriath. Considering GabeN is my Lord and Saviour... I'll blame EA for this worsening cluster eff. My game has gone down the toilet since I paid full price (like an idiot) for Sims 4 For Rent. Its an 8,600 hour save file :( Sad? I am. Stupid? Yes.

I have some new issues in Residential Rentals. No, I am not going to EA's website. They can ignore me here on Steam. No need to be ignored twice.

1) Every woman is wearing a skirt even though every woman is already wearing pants or a different skirt. Two skirt Mary. Two skirt Summer. Better Exceptions can't find the random skirt because it does not exist. Not in their inventory. Not in my mods folder. Women in my game are wearing clothes that do not exist. This started yesterday.

2) All of my tenants are obsessed with baking a white cake. I quite literally had 17 white cakes on the floor of my Crick Cabana residential building.

3) Starting yesterday, it seems like every gosh-darned Sim is a virtuoso on guitar and violin. Even if they DO NOT ACTUALLY HAVE A GUITAR OR A VIOLIN IN THEIR INVENTORY. They just keep pulling an instrument out of their bum, make a white cake, and leave the batter on the floor, all while wearing a yellow skirt under their pants.

None of this happens at my "regular" residential lots.

I have paid well over $1,000 for this broken joke of a game. I want my money back. I HAVE A WINGED LLAMA IN THE SKY.

actually it worked for me yesterday I mean shift tab - steam overlay and fps camera
I tried again today and today it isn't working (neither steam overlay or fps camera) but that's fine for my because at least I know now that the problem is with game or ea app as always and not my setup though
