The only way I know how to fix it is with the MCCC mod (Cheat Sim Info/Modify Career Outfit).
sims.modify_career_outfit_in_cas
Nah, its an in-game cheat:
sims.modify_career_outfit_in_cas
You might need to type these into the console first, I don't know as I use Twisted Mexi's mods to always have them active:

I wear glasses in real life, but I do not consider it a disability at least for me, but blindness, partially blind (blind in one eye but not the other), or nearly blind obviously is a disability. I am near sighted in real life, but my eyesight is not terrible and do not need to wear glasses when reading a book or using my computer. If someone needs to wear glasses from both a distance away and up close and/or maybe going blind (but not nearly blind yet during the early stages of vision loss) because of vision loss then yes it is at least a partial disability. If a person in real life cannot get SSDI (Social Security Disablity Insurance) because of not being blind, partially blind, or nearly blind then I would not consider it a disability. People can only get SSDI for example if unable to work, but apparently people who are deaf or have hearing impairment could potentially get SSDI as well and not just blind people after I looked it up online recently despite the fact that apparently blind people get paid more money than people who are deaf or hearing impaired.
I do get your point across. Disability is not necessarily the right wording for it. I would say glasses are more accurately a necessity than a disability for most people who "need" to wear them in real life and even someone who needs to wear glasses for both close up and far away is only a partial disability (unless if maybe experiencing vision loss at the same time) that may not necessarily be qualified for getting SSDI.
Just a fashion statement.
