Another possibility is taking a picture of your sim with your sim friend before your sim friend dies and be kept in memory, but that does not require a mod. You can also bring your sim friend back to life from ambrosia or if owning Horse Ranch from vitality nectar. As for me, unless if it is a sim that is based on a real life friend who I know personally I am not really saddened that much when sims die on The SIms 4. I have even intentionally killed some sims as well on The Sims 4. Accidental deaths on The Sims 4 can be sad as well, but on the flip side accidental deaths can also be intentional depending on the player.

ya i wish i took pictures so i could have some of those. was able to find the urn/tombstone so thats nice. Might bring them back but it was way too early to lose someone yet.

might make a nice little garden dedicated to them
