Empty and populate
I was wondering if there was a way to populate with just sim's you made instead of generated ones. Just want to empty the town and populate with ones I have (which is over 100).

I got over 430 active sims. if i resurrected the dead ones and those i'm thinking of creating, that brings me closer to 500 sims in total. that's enough to populate all the worlds (including the DLC worlds).

the residential rental is a game changer though, i can create even more sims and shove them into rentals now by creating more of those. imagine another 500 sims in the game... i mean there is no end if you put your mind to the task of building lots, creating sims and doing it the way you imagined it.

What I wanted is for the game not to put in random sims for shops or other things and just use the ones I have made. As it is I have to delete or edit 'new people' all the time.

If you use mods, Carl's Sim Spawner & Filter Tool (SSFT) should do that.

MCCC population menu set to 100% on use sims from library (tray) will work as well.

the problem with that is mccc will effectively remove everything around them except the way they appear and randomise the traits and other things, if that sim was married to another in that one household, they won't be married to them once imported. They'll be effectively alien to the sim you know.

i don't use that feature because i don't like to have my sims butchered like that.

Yeah the MCCC setting just populates their appearances, and if you already had put that sim into game it can roll the sim again and throw it in but will rename it if you have that setting set. I use it at something like 30% ish just to mix up my game a little.
