Build/buy mode glitch

So, this has been an issue lately, but every time I go into build/buy mode and click on something to place in my Sim's home, instead of getting placed, the object either disappears when I click on the spot I want to place the object or simply doesn't get placed.

I don't have the Better Buildbuy mod so I have no clue what's causing this annoying bug/glitch

is the location Green aura when you place the object? it will disappear if Red and interfering w other objects. you could try "bb.testingcheats ON", "bb.moveobjects" and this'll allow things to overlap, be careful not to interrupt pathing for sims though.

Even if green it won't let me place the item.

This is reported as a mods/cc issue.

Are you using any mods/cc? If so, they may be broken or out-of-date. If you aren't using many, go to the modders' sites to see if they require updating. If you use quite a bit, you may want to install TwistedMexi's Better Exceptions mod to help you find which of your mods/cc may be faulty.

When I go to build mode all I see is a gray box with no build items in it.I tried to repair it but nothing works.
