I have tried to update the file and I still keep having this problem. When I go to some buildings my sim keeps acting like there is something in the way. The weird part it's only the bathrooms that are giving me this problem. Help!

Try to replace the door or if you used moveobjects make sure that none of the placed item blocks the door + check the lamp, sometimes this cause too issue.

Do you have Laundry Day by any chance? I found that if the washer or dryer was adjacent to the door it blocked the path through the door.

It sounds like it could be a similar issue with a sink or shower, when you place the object is the green triangle in the path of the door?

Weirdly enough, this exact issue with bathroom doors has also happened to me in the past. Never any issue with anything in the way, don't have Laundry Day. One day the doors work, the next day they don't. My bandaid solution was to copy/paste the door in BB mode, so I just replaced it.

always leave 1 square open around the doors, that includes moving walls if you must, this keeps the doors from acting like they don't exist and trap your sim on either side.
