Well aside from Sims I also enjoy the Dragon Age, Mass Effect and Star Wars Jedi franchise they publish.
I don't see anything wrong with them.
They DLC's containted amazing content.
From a financial standpoint Sims has the most DLC's so ofcourse I can understand that people complain if they love the game but lack money for new DLC's or saved up money for a DLC to not get what they wanted.
But that is just life.
Many complain about stuff they bought for money. DLC, Game or really anything that is sold on this world.
Yet they keep on buying it anyway.
I agree that most games have DLC's that should have been in the base game just like games from 20 years ago. That were released and finished and didnt even required patches.
But the thing is that paid DLC was tested and it seemed to work and they profited a lot.
So why would you stop with that procedure when the majority still buys it.
If there is still profit next to complaints then there is no reason to change.
A Thread like this surely won't help.
It's just something we have to accept.
Looks like someone went to a little boot licker elementary school where calling out corp b.s. is a big no no.
I am 100% sure that if the game had all current DLC's in the base game and then also bring out tons of paid DLC's additionally then you and other would claim the same that it's empty.
I guess the majority of humans are just never really satisfied ever or just love to complain.
Nobody else I think could have said it any better which I did reward you previously with the wholesome reward. Complaints about dlc pricing are not surprisingly common and I could understand why some people do complain about this even with 40% (gamepacks and stuff packs) and 60% (expansion packs) discounts on Steam in addition to bundles reducing price as well even if there is not a sale going on, but that is not going to stop people from buying at least some dlc. If basegame alone is not satisfying enough but pricing is an issue then only buy dlc whenever there is a discount sale going on but at the same time do not buy the dlc all at once even during a discount (unless if someone really wants to and has a lot of money), but even without dlc or only having some dlc due to issues with dlc pricing that does not dismiss the fact there are plenty of free mods and cc out there as well for players to enjoy playing with them assuming they play on PC instead of console.
Its empty. The original Sims 4 cost about $62 Canadian dollars. And had nothing. Nada. The Sims 4 is worth less than it costs now.
And it is free. Stop being a shill for a multi-billion dollar corporation.
What does EA give you or your family? Nothing. EA gives you nothing. Now you are going to complain and I'll be banned for the 700th time while your child sits alone in a room with an iPad.
I paid over $2,000 for a game that is broken and worth nothing. Because I have more money than sense. But it seems you have neither money or sense.
The base game works. But it has nothing.
And this ten year old game is broken. Piling crap on top of broken crap just makes the original crap stink even more.
This game was fun but EA is desperate to milk everyone for money while they can. I am guilty. Sob. This game that I once enjoyed is now a broken joke of a clusterfark.
If I was GabeN I would kick this company off of Steam. But money talks and customer satisfaction walks. Whatever. I just want my money back.
and anyone who said "Sims 4 basegame is quite fun to play", they must be never played Sims 2 or Sims 3 before..
