I need your help on bundles
Hi everyone,
I require your help and suggestion on the bundles.

I'm only really interested in the cottage living expansion pack from the Decorator's Dream Bundle. Do I buy it individually or do the other 2 add something more. I'm not really that interested in the building aspect of the game.

Same with the Everyday Sims Bundle. Does the laundry stuff add some interest in gameplay, I heard from the reviews that it is quite buggy. I'm really interested with the other 2 from the bundle.

And lastly, how is the cats and dogs dlc. From the description, it sound quite fun to play with especially the vet and clinic side.

I really need your insight. Do you also have any recommendations (ones with deep discount if possible), or will I be good with the above. Thank you for your time.

Even if you do not get My First Pet stuff pack (which is free for only a limited period of time) I would still recommend that you eventually get Cats & Dogs. Maybe not one of the best expansion packs (contrary to Get Together, Cottage Living, Growing Together but does not get 50% or 60% discounts yet, and maybe Seasons but some people think this should have been basegame instead of dlc), but it is close similar to Island Living. Also, some people (but not everyone) enjoy Laundry Day which can now get 40% discounts on Steam just like various other stuff packs and gamepacks that used to have just 30% discounts for a long time until recently even with some people experiencing issues with this pack such as frequent fires for example when trying to use laundry machines. As for advice about bundles buying them seems to work best when there is not a sale going on because if there is no discount you can still save some money when buying bundles even if there is no discount taking place, but if I am not mistaken the price for each pack from a bundle is the same amount as the discount if there is a discount sale going on like right now. As for Dream Home Decorator I was hesitant to get this pack for a while because I did not consider myself a builder, but the longer I played the more interested I seemed to be towards building instead of only just gameplay and CaS that I only purchased originally because of it being sold in a bundle; although, I will admit that I do like at least some of the build mode and CaS items even though I do not very often play with the Dream Home Decorator career during my gameplays.

One other thing worth mentioning about bundles. They are still cheaper than buying individual packs if there is not a discount sale going on, but assuming you decide to buy Dream Home Decorator later since you want Cottage Living but apparently not Dream Home Decorator right now I would only recommend buying with a bundle even after purchasing Cottage Living first if there is not a discount sale taking place. Take for example if you purchase Dream Home Decorator after Cottage Living from a bundle you would only get Dream Home Decorator since you would have already owned Cottage Living where you are not required to pay twice for the same dlc if getting a bundle and originally buying these two packs separately. You can also add multiple dlc packs to a shopping cart as well before buying without necessarily getting a bundle, unless if you plan on getting every single dlc from that bundle as well (although as mentioned previously there might be some packs from bundles that you already own).

Thank you for your intake, so do you recommend all three bundles?

I only see two bundles you specifically mentioned here. The Everyday Bundle and a bundle that comes with Cottage Living, Tiny Living, and Dream Home Decorator. The bundle from Dream Home Decorator you do not really need right now, but you could buy it later from another time regardless of whether you buy it when on sale without bundle or purchased from a bundle if you do not want to wait for the next discount. You should buy Cottage Living before its 60% discount expires if you really want it now, but you do not have to buy it in the bundle with Dream Home Decorator. As for Laundry Day it is not necessarily a terrible dlc and has 63% positive review on Steam (which 60% or better dlc rating on The SIms 4 is actually good enough to be considered "good" dlc) which also has nice CaS and build mode options even if you are not going to play with laundry that much, but I would recommend the everyday bundle. Also, Pet Lovers bundle (which you do not specifically mention here) has similar stuff as everyday (because they both include "Parenthood") except it has my first pet and cats&dogs as well, but instead of buying both bundles you could also get everyday as the "only bundle", but also add Cottage Living (but without Dream Home Decorator if you really do not want that gamepack yet), Cats&Dogs, Tiny Living (strongly recommended for getting on sale even without the Decorator's Dream bundle and definitely one of the best stuff packs), My First Pet (because it is free for a limited time only), and Romantic Garden (similar to My First Pet where it is only free until January 9th assuming you do not own that stuff pack yet) to shopping list before buying.
