plop a gym down, a library and a nightclub and suddenly you are looking at a fairly good experience with it.
if you have the mod "all worlds are residential", you can add the destination worlds as extra world you can use for residential and so forth. there are other lots that allows you to have npc sims already on the lot when your sim arrives so it's always ready to go, this could be useful when adding a few stalls on one of the lots that never gets used, and with the mod, those stalls get a vendor each.
the possibilities are pretty big when you think about it.
Can they swim in the water? I read somehow that the area is lacking. At the moment I don’t search much for information for this EP. I read a german article which was rather negative about the whole EP. Many half-baked features and many things are lacking, and the best is renting is broken as landlord and you don’t get money from your tenants. The world seems to dead. I think I will wait for LGR review if he still makes review to Sims 4.
The swimming area is massive and more massive in fact than the swimming area from Copperdale and Tartosa as well. The only closed world map that even comes close to having as much swimming water on the map is Sulani. I have watched enough early access videos at this point that I know for a fact that your sim has to travel a long distance over the water to a cave for finding stuff over there that some lore as well when visiting the cave despite it being a rabbit hole and not having any secret lot. In my opinion the cave should lead to a secret lot since there is not that much to do when you visiting the cave besides getting rewarded something, but unfortunately it does not.
Absolutely agree on this as every culture, all around the world has its own mythical version of merfolk. That stated, I can't help feel it's a lost opportunity to haven't expanded upon that occult. Of course I'd never actually have any such expectation..Because, EA.
True and you also have to swim before reaching the cave which reminds me of deep diving on The SIms 3 Island Paradise, but instead of going underwater you have to swim a long distance to reach a cave that is only a rabbit hole. Just not as exciting because of it not being open world contrary to Island Paradise and World Adventures. If you were to combine Island Living and For Rent together they seem to be somewhat similar to Island Paradise despite neither of them being as good as this expansion pack overall even when combined together while Jungle Adventures is supposed to be comparable to World Adventures but not open world and has only one vacation world instead of three vacation worlds. For Rent possibly could have some similarities as well to The Sims 2, but apartments on The Sims 2 within the same lot did not have loading screens. And of course if you want actual hotels and resorts (which Island Living did actually have resorts) that will mean spending more money from future dlc that will probably be separate packs instead of one pack for both hotels and resorts.
After spending a considerable amount of time watching early access videos I can confirm that there probably are going to be at least a few bugs and glitches coming with this expansion pack. Lilsimsie also seemed to be a little annoyed as well when trying to visit different units. I still think that For Rent is overall worth getting (although maybe not as one of the first expansion packs if you want to save money and do not already own lots of dlc) even after watching plenty of early access videos, but at the same time I am also not surprised about the new bugs coming with this expansion pack.
It's a big, beautiful EMPTY world, just like always. The night market that they hyped up is a couple of food stalls and a clothing stall. The animal sanctuary is a choose your own adventure rabbit hole, even the temple is just something you click on and it gives you a little pop up.
The issue from City Living where random sims simply walk into your place with no option to tell them to leave is back with this pack. So have fun with that frustration.
Even with just base game and this pack, sims still simply don't listen to what you want them to do and do what they want anyway.
As usual, there seems to be a lot of nice BB and CAS items, so people will still buy the pack, but also as usual there's a dead world and little gameplay, and as always, the gameplay is buggy.
Oh, please no! I don’t want stranger in my home again! It was one of the reasons why I stopped to play in San Myshuno in my vanilla game.
If this DLC already have so much problem with only base game. I don’t want to know how … problematic it will be if you add all other DLC to it.
