EA DLC doesn't show up on Steam

Going bonkers here. I own Sims 4 and Parenthood, Pets, and kitchen stuff on EA. I downloaded Sims 4 on Steam when it was free. No matter how many times I install and re-install, my DLC is not recognised when I play through Steam. When I run Sims 4 through steam it says "you already own this" but there's no option to install and it doesn't show up in game. I really don't want to buy duplicates to play through Steam. I want to be able to play through Steam as I got a Steam Deck. Is there a way to do this or am I missing something?? Help much appreciated...

im having the same issue but even if i wanted to re buy the DLCs it wont let me cuz it says i already own them

Oh great... hadn't even considered that would also be an issue!

Open EA App direct and go to The Sims 4 -> … -> Manage add-ons if it there say download then download it if there is already installed then look in which folder you Sims 4 DLC got installed. It gives an old bug which EA APP install DLC in the wrong folder as example: The Sims 4 Demo or EA GAMES.
