Character creation issue

So every time I create my character and try to save it, it just saves the base version of my sim. It saves it with short hair, and naked, which isn't what I'm going for at all, lol. I have no clue how to fix this, but basically no matter what I try to change my sim to, even the random ones and save it to start up the game, it ends up as the same naked base model. Anyone know of a way to fix this??

reads like something that happens to me on occasion when loading into TS4. sometimes the DLC's just fail to load up with the game and when you look at the sim on the side in the landing page that shows from the most recently saved game, it shows them to be bald and naked.

i have to leave the game and go back into it in order for the DLC's to load up with the game. dunno why it does that but i'm certain it's it's not a mod issue or a game file issue as i've ran multiple repairs and changed out mods from time to time, it still happens.

I've never seen that happen, you running game via Steam shortcut or clicking into game from the EA app link?

Okay I launch using Steam shortcut as my game is installed through Steam. Never had this issue doing it this way.
