The world size is not disappointing because it is actually quite large with plenty of water for swimming, but the lot sizes, rabbit holes, and number of lots are the biggest disappointment as opposed to world size. However, contrary to SatchonSims I would give the new world a 4 out of 10 instead of 1 out of 10. Reasons why include not based on the United States where you get to experience another country and culture besides the U.S, the world is beautiful and not small contrary to what some people might think even if it does feel like it is mostly empty at the same time, would be a slightly better world if at least one lot was 50x40, 50x50, or 64x64 to help make up for having less lots (although, even then it would only increase my rating to 4.5 instead of 4 because of still only having just 9 lots), The SIms 4 worlds always were closed worlds where the expectation to have actual open worlds on The SIms 4 is unrealistic even with WIndenburg, and only slightly smaller than the average sized world on The SIms 4 which is perhaps 12 lots.
ALL the sims reboots are recycled content dating back to the original sims and sims 2. I merely enjoy the world building and lore. That is EA's only redeeming quality in sim-series.
I think that I need to spend more time at Henford-on-Bagley actually. The only world on The Sims 4 that seems to have interesting lore from dlc involving new worlds besides planet Sixam to some extent (although you cannot actually live there) from Get to Work and Windenburg where it seems to have at least some lore in addition to having a descent sized world even if it does seem to have less lore than Henford-on-Bagley.
