Cheats enabled, Shift Click disabled?
Hi, everyone. I am able to press ctrl, shift, c, to get the console open and type in testingcheats true. So far so good, I was able to type in cheats just fine, but I noticed the one big cheat that I used to use a couple of years back no longer works. I shift clicked on my characters to fix their needs but, no matter how many times I hold shift and left click, doesn't matter if its the left or right shift key, and mouse click, the darned options just don't come up. Did an update kill the cheat? I run on windows 10 and did not have this problem 2 years ago. It's so weird that it's happening now. I went though a tremendous amount of posts through google of people having the same struggle and essentially giving up. Has anyone else gone through this? Any workaround? I much prefer playing the game on PC than PS4, but, Sims is a game I enjoy using cheats with because it just relaxes me enjoying things I can't in real life. Any help would be appreciated.

I can't speak for a couple of years ago, but the default testingcheats shift/click will give you the "cheat need" only, which allows you to make the Sim happy and/or activate/deactivate needs decay.
The only way to get what your looking for, which I assume from your post is the ability to manipulate each need individually, is by having the MCCC mod installed.

I don’t have any issue; I got a bunch of cheats for my sims if I have testingcheats true on and click on them (game without mods) inclusive the disabled needs cheat + fill needs cheats.

Have you tried to restart your game?
