simply consider it as mental disability trait in this game
In theory it might also be related to Bipolar Disorder. Brittany Spears is a clear example of someone who seems to be erratic as well.
I call this trait just the crazy trait which tried a little to go back to the old humor. I don’t think its fair to make real live compare for this trait, it would be offensive (and stupid).
Are any sim traits represented realistically? I find most are comedic takes because Sims is meant to be silly, so I never imagine any trait is meant to offend. I like that Erratic is included, though..Gloomy, as well. I've used Erratic for storytelling purposes in no way amusing. The right screenshots give it a much less than comedic effect.
If that's not something which interests players at all, yeah..it'd just be a junk trait then..nothing useful about it.
@The Living Darkness, this is great! I'd imagine Erratic and Paranoid might give an even more specific effect. I'd had a similar character in my vampires' 'human prison' in Sims 3. Not a groundskeeper but..well, a tasty meal(?). I'd given him comparable traits...Am I mistaken in thinking the Insane trait still exists in Sims 3? Anyway, I'd given that character the Neurotic trait and whatever others I thought would fit well, Insane if it 'is' in that version. (I'd swear it is.) Pretty magnificent character, that one..although he'd cleaned nothing. :))
