Does the new sink-settings work for anyone??

I've heard many people have had this bug where sims refuse to wash dishes in the kitchen sink, and go all the way to the bathroom sink to watch dishes, and they were supposed to fix it with the new update where u can set the sink to be only "bathroom" or "kitchen". Well I did that, but my sim STILL go do the bathroom to wash them. I even tried to switch places on the sinks, putting the bathroom sink in the kitchen and vice versa, but he still went to the bathroom. So the the problem with the bug doesn't seem to be on the sinks, but the rooms. Anyone else have this problem after the update??
